Here are the questions they asked but did not print–and my answers to them:

But while he seems to have been ousted by the political and Hollywood communities, does the fitness/body building world still have his back?

He has definitely lost some respect from people in the fitness and bodybuilding world. But he certainly won’t be ousted because of everything he has done for the bodybuilding community, the people in bodybuilding he has influenced over the years, and what he represents to many people in our world.

People forgive and forget over time. And, everyone loves a great comeback story too. Arnold won’t be gone for long. I think he has some famous saying about that.

Do you anticipate that the Arnold Fitness Weekend will still be as popular as ever?

I do. I think it will bring more excitement and drama to the event. People love drama. Personally, I look forward to seeing how he handles this challenge. I’m sure he’ll handle it typical Arnold-fashion: Calm, cool, and collected–with that huge smile on his of his face.

Would he be welcomed back to a full-time career in the industry once again?

Of course. After enough time passes, there’s absolutely no doubt in my mind he will be welcomed back with open arms. Bodybuilding is what it is today mainly because of the charisma and charm of Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Is a “scandal” such as this likely to damage his reputation in the bodybuilding community in any way?

I don’t think a powerful man having an extramarital affair is all that shocking. Having a baby as a result of an extramartial affair? Not great for a man’s reputation but, again, not all that shocking. And it’s also not the first time a celebrity or man of power has had an affair with the help.

Where I really think he lost some respect from his admirers is that the woman he had the affair with was unattractive. If this woman was an smoking-hot 25 year old, Arnold would have already been forgiven. I know that’s not politically correct to say, but it’s the truth. People, especially most men, would be saying “Ah, I get it.” At least to themselves they would be.

I think it’s humorous how the “puritan” in everyone comes out when something like this happens. We’ve seen powerful, successful, and influential men get themselves into these situations since the beginning of time. I don’t understand why everyone is so shocked.

This Arnold scandal has had an interesting affect on people. Of course, women think he’s a pig mainly because they are empathizing with Maria’s pain and embarrassment. I think many men are conveniently forgetting all the things in their past that they’re thankful haven’t come back to bite them in the ass. Or, they are putting on a good show for their wives and girlfriends.

Anyone who knows anything about ambitious men understands they are massive risk-takers. We first come to know of them because of all of the risks they have taken that have paid off big time. Unfortunately, not all of their risky behavior pays off–and we oftentimes get to hear about it too. Just think about the risk he took to keep that secret, not only from his wife, but from everyone else too while running for governor TWICE! Most people are totally immobilized from going for what they really want in life because they are too worried about what their friends and neighbors will think about them. In a bizarre way, it’s kind of impressive.

What makes him such a legend?

Arnold’s ambition, charisma, and accomplishments are what make him such a legend. The bodybuilding community in general, from the time he competed until this very day, is impressed by how his success transcended far beyond big muscles, a great body, and trophies. He went from bodybuilder to a legitimate “somebody.”

In this community, we all want to believe that all of the hard work and discipline we devote to our bodies can parlay into success in other areas of our lives. The truth is, Arnold is the only bodybuilder to make it so big. Arnold is the only bodybuilder the general public knows.
