They Don’t See THE GRIND By Skip La Cour

What most people don’t understand about us is that our physical body is just the RESULT of a lot of details executed every day.

They admire our bodies. The only see the result. The don’t see THE GRIND. They don’t see the hours of research, the not-so-great strategies we’ve tried, and the entire days we’ve invested preparing our meals for the week. When they look at our bodies, they don’t see the angst, uncertainty, and loneliness we’ve endured that were unfortunate parts of the process.

Many of these people are smart. They’re hardworking. They may even be successful and happy in other important areas of life. They just don’t understand THE GRIND. They aren’t willing to go through the THE GRIND. Even when they do, they want to skip ahead without paying their dues.

We’ve learned how to respect THE GRIND. A huge part of our identity is to not only endure THE GRIND but to embrace it and thrive within it.

That’s why we look great. That’s why we’ve earned the respect of so many people.

There’s a grind to creating the feeling of control in your life.

There’s a grind to being happy and successful.

There’s a grind to having great relationships.

There’s a grind in being a great communicator.

There’s a grind to business success.

There’s a grind to making a lot of money that creates a lot of options for yourself and your family (or future family).

Everyone who does well in those areas of life has gone through THE GRIND and continues to do so.

We need to understand THE GRIND in those other important areas of life too. We can’t skip ahead. We must embrace it. We must make going through THE GRIND in other areas of life our identity too.

We already do it every day. We already have the superhuman power within us to do it anywhere we set our minds to.
