“I just have to tell you I was inspired by the Mass Machine training videotape. I read the weights you were lifting on your site and said, ‘This I've got to see.’ I expected to see crappy lifts like I see from the bodybuilders in my gym, but I was pleasantly surprised at the control you showed. Sure, you cheat on some exercises, but I could tell you were in control unlike and the cheating served a clear purpose. I am an underweight 220 and need to put on some upper body mass. I've always been the type of lifter that when I see someone lift more than me, I ask myself, ‘How long until I can do that?’ As a powerlifter with a crappy bench, your tape gave me plenty of times to ask myself the question, especially on delts and arms. I was so inspired that I did dumbbell curls and calves today with more weight than I've ever used. Typically, I shortchange them as they aren't ‘all that important’ for powerlifting, but we both know that when trying to get to the next level, you can't afford a weak link anywhere. By the way, I was glad to see you training down to triples and fives. You train like a powerlifter! I mean that in a good way. LOL! It will be a while before I'm doing 100-pound dumbbell curls and 100-pound flyes, but now I've got a target and it won't be TOO LONG! Anyway, the tape was worth the 40 bucks just as a wake up call to remind me of something I already knew but hadn't been diligently applying to my upper body as much as I have for squats and deads ‘JUST SHUT UP AND ADD 10 MORE POUNDS!’ Too much thinking can be as bad as too little sometimes. I'm confident that I'll be much thicker by my meets in June.”

I am a student who has written to you before from LaSalle College in Newton, MA. I finished out the school year in May '99. The first video of the Bodybuilding and Training Seminar was my favorite and also Dare to Dream was the second.
