What you’ve heard within our bodybuilding and fitness world is 100 percent true.
You can use the same superhuman powers you’ve already earned to become awesome at anything else in life too.
I know you don’t always see that within our circles. Sure, there are great bodies and passion. But what about the other good stuff that life has to offer? Maybe you’ve wondered why you haven’t kicked things into gear as quickly and easily as you expected at times? I have wondered it thousands of times.
It’s really not your fault. You’re continually mislead by passionate bodybuilding and fitness people with good intentions. Their mixed messages can throw a person off. I’ll explain.
What do we tell “regular” people who can’t get their exercise and eating habits on track? “What’s your excuse?” or something like that, right? It only takes “an hour a day” to take care of yourself. It’s a lifestyle. Just make the decision to do it, dammit! We tell regular people how looking great like we do isn’t all that hard once you commit, right?
And, have you ever had this experience?
Have you had a “regular” person in your life tell you how EASY it must be for you to look so amazing? We all have, haven’t we? How insulting is that? They have no idea the amount of mental focus, sacrifice, and hard work it takes to look like we do! That’s willpower, focus, energy, and time that we can’t put into all of the things in life they work on, enjoy, and experience. How dare they tell us our great bodies came easily!
Well, which one is it? Get that clear in your mind.
Adopting the belief that it only “takes an hour a day” has made you an awesome, disciplined physical specimen. That’s the RIGHT mindset that’s led to your greatness. But it also may leave you wondering why a smart, hardworking person like you can’t seem to figure out how to have the other good stuff in life.
We only have so much willpower, focus, energy, and time. Regardless of what our great fitness leaders drill into our heads, those are simply NOT unlimited resources.
You can have anything you want in life when you totally commit to it like you’ve done for bodybuilding and training. You know that. You can be who you really want to be when you align the superhuman powers you’ve already earned the right ways.
I know what you’re thinking. If all of that’s true, then why haven’t you done it yet? I don’t care what your life has been like in the past. It’s not too late to be great.
We just need to understand and appreciate exactly where our willpower, focus, energy, and time is being directed.
We also need some effective, structured strategies on how to get those other things in life while still enjoying our great body too. We want to stay in control during the journey. I know how important that is to you.
Stop feeling badly every time your favorite, ripped fitness leader tells you how they “have it all” and you should too. Don’t let them make you feel like there is something wrong with you. There’s been nothing wrong with you all along. And screw those people who tell you how easy it must be to look the way you do too!
P.S. Get email updates from my wife, Carrie, and my journey because we’ll share what we learned about using the superhuman powers we’ve earned through our dedication to fitness to win in life too.
