Being a competitive bodybuilder or fitness competitor is all about structure and daily rituals that lead toward a vision that we have for our bodies. That’s what is so addictive about the contest preparation process. We’re in total control.

It took my wife, Carrie​, and I some time and effort to apply the superhuman powers we had already earned from fitness to our regular lives. We want to share what we’ve learned about ourselves and life along the way.

Here’s an example of one of the daily rituals we’ve created. This is what goes on in the La Cour home every night around 8 pm.
