“Who will I eventually become?”
Do you ever ask yourself that question?
If so, you’re not alone.
It’s a very common question the men who I work with during our weekly, one-one-one coaching sessions ask themselves.
I find myself asking that question all the time.
And, it doesn’t matter what I’ve accomplished in the past or what exciting things I have planned in the future, I always wonder how my “story” will play out.
Nothing in life is guaranteed. I don’t have to tell you that, I’m sure.
That’s what causes our angst.
We all want that sense of control.
Some of us need that sense of control more than others.
But we all need it.
We all want to believe that we can control the events in our lives. It doesn’t matter how great they are or how challenging they are, we want to know we can control our destiny. We want control over our eventual outcome.
I’ve discovered that sense of control we all want so badly is a mindset more than it is a “reality.”
It takes courage, imagination, and a plan to EARN the sense of control.
It takes courage, imagination, and plan to EARN that inner peace.
It’s not given to us. Other people or events don’t allow us to have it. We either earn it or we don’t.
Most of the time, it really doesn’t matter how things actually turn out. What really matters is how much control we felt during the journey.
It’s funny to think that I would have felt LUCKY to have the challenges I have today as little as 10 years ago. It’s funny to think how hard I worked to EARN my current life challenges.
But they are still challenges.
I still must work through the angst that comes with these challenges.
I still must use the mental and emotional skills that I learned and executed for decades to work past them and feel in control.
They are still puzzles that need to be put together.
They are still codes that need to be cracked.
Maybe you can relate to what I saying?
When I think about it, this is nothing new for me.
This was exactly the same way I felt when I was grinding up the ladder at the grocery store wondering who would I eventually become.
This was exactly the same way I felt after one of my many crushing defeats during my competitive bodybuilding career.
This was exactly the way I felt during all of those lonely Christmas holidays sitting on “the big black couch.”
I came out of those situations just fine.
You’ll make it through your challenges too when you gain that sense of control that you earn with courage, imagination, and a plan.
Many of the men who have been following me since my competitive bodybuilding days have noticed the growth and changes that I’ve experienced over the years.
If you’ve been following me on social media lately, then you may have noticed my huge re-emergence, so to speak. I’m being introduced to an entirely large, new group of successful men who are a little older and want to finally master their health and fitness. They want to get their information from me, someone who is their age and with their same perspective on life.
It’s opened up a whole new world for me. It’s like a second (or third?) chance at real meaningful contribution to others in this lifetime.
Along with it, it’s created a new world of challenges, puzzles, and codes to crack.
My videos are now watched by more men in one month than what took three years in the past. I talk to dozens of men on the phone every week about their fitness anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour. Most of this it is for free.
But I still find myself wanting to go back to helping men make sense out their LIFE challenges.
I still find myself wanting to help men like YOU learn and execute the life lessons that created the positive changes that you’ve seen me go through over the years.
I want to help you with your own “MANformation.”
I want to help you gain more control over your life with more courage, imagination, and a plan.
If there was something in this email that has you thinking and wanting to reach out to me, do it.
I’m looking forward to connecting with you.
I will have you fill out a questionnaire so you can tell me your situation.
I’ll give you free access to my MANformation personal development for men course too.
I’ll even set aside some time to talk to you privately on the phone.
Email me back.
Let’s get this growth process started.
